Summary: BRAC Bank is seeking an Officer/Associate Manager for its Information Security Department in Dhaka. This is a full-time position for individuals with 1-4 years of experience in cyber threat intelligence, SOC analysis, and incident response. Key Responsibilities

As an Officer/Associate Manager, you will be a vital part of the Information Security team, focusing on proactive cyber security. Your responsibilities will include:

• Providing dedicated SOC monitoring (24×7, by rotation) and conducting in-depth analysis of cyber security events.
• Reviewing and triaging information security alerts, providing detailed analysis, and escalating incidents for rapid incident response (IR).
• Supporting and managing solutions such as SIEM (Security Information and Event Management), SOAR, and Threat Intelligence Platforms (TIP).
• Handling log collection, security scanning, intrusion detection, and content filtering systems.
• Analyzing and responding to vulnerabilities and investigating, documenting, and reporting on emerging security threats.
• Supporting the Enterprise Vulnerability Management program and contributing to the overall security posture of the bank.

Required Qualifications

We are seeking a highly motivated and skilled individual with a strong foundation in cyber security.

• Education: A graduate degree from a reputed university in Information Security, Cyber Security, Computer Science, or other IT-related fields is mandatory.

• Experience: A minimum of 1-4 years of primary experience in Information Security, or at least 4 years of experience in an IT Network role, is required. Prior experience as a SOC Analyst and in incident monitoring and detection is highly preferred.

• Certifications: Professional certifications such as CFR/CSA, CEH/CPEH, CPT/LPT, or CDFE/CHFI are highly expected. Training or certification in SIEM/SOAR and Threat Intelligence will be an advantage.
• Technical Skills: Must possess strong technical capabilities in areas like Network Defenders, Ethical Hacking, Incident Response, and Computer Forensics.
• Soft Skills: Must demonstrate strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, a self-motivated and proactive approach, and excellent communication skills.

Skills & Expertise

To excel in this fintech job, candidates should possess:

• In-depth knowledge of cyber threat intelligence and the current security landscape.
• Hands-on experience with SIEM solutions, SOAR, and TIP.
• A practical understanding of common security threats, attack vectors, and vulnerabilities.
• Expertise in analyzing and responding to security incidents and performing forensic analysis.
• Strong knowledge of global hiring trends 2025 in information security and continuous professional development.
• Proficiency in network security, including intrusion detection and content filtering.
